- The texts are reviewed by independent experts, suggested by the authors and are conducted openly after publication.
- The Reviewers of the texts are specialists in the discipline of international relations who are not members of the Editorial Team.
- The Editors take care to avoid conflicts of interests between authors of reviewed texts and reviewers.
- In order to ensure the originality of scholarly publications, the Editorial Team follows procedures to prevent dishonest practices, i.e. plagiarism, ghostwriting; guest authorship, honorary authorship, described in the Ethics Policy of SM/IR.
Authors are encouraged to respond openly to the peer review reports, which are published with the article, and can publish revised versions of their article, if they wish.
